Mobilisation

Experience, far-sightedness and planning are essential qualities when an organisation for operations and maintenance is built from scratch.

A precondition for operations is good mobilisation, and we possess substantial experience in this. Back in the day we won the task of mobilising the existing Metro in Copenhagen, which opened in three phases. In 2011, we were head of the mobilising of the metro at Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where one of our posted employees was also the operations manager for a number of years afterwards. And recently we have mobilized for Cityringen M3+M4, where we have the responsibility for recruitment, operations and maintenance. Read more here.
An extension of the M4 is also planned - it is expected to open in 2024.

There are many elements involved in a mobilisation. First and foremost, we draft procedures for operations, maintenance, safety management and emergency preparedness. As the only Danish operator with a BOStrap Betriebsleiter, we work in accordance with the highest safety standards, which is a prerequisite for us attaining the requisite approvals and certificates.

Another important competence during a mobilisation phase is to secure the right resources at the right time and location. Our vast experience with recruitment and planning of training means that we are able to efficiently staff an operations and maintenance organisation gradually as the need arises - from the design phase to when operations commence. And as the Shadow Operator during the design phase we proactively take the responsibility as a consultant to the client, so that any possible problems are identified as early as possible and thus affect the operations as little as possible.

Thus, we will soon begin the recruitment and planning for Hovedstadens Letbane, which is expected to open in 2025.
